Windsor St. layout Open House

I have been slammed at work and haven’t had much time for trains as of late. What little time I have had I spent helping my friends with their layouts. To that end my friend Ed had a layout open house today. I was there for about an hour and despite the weather, it was well attended.

Here are a few shots I snapped at the event.

A Visit to Todd Treaster’s layout

On Sunday the 28 my father and I skipped the second day of the N-Scale weekend in Altoona PA. to visit with Todd and Becky Treatster. Todd has one of the largest private collections of N-Scale cars around. He has almost every Mini trix, Atlas and Micro-trains car ever made. He owns over 21,000 cars and locomotives. He also has a 38×35 foot layout. The layout is set in the 90’s and features Conrail when it was at its best. He can run 180 car trains without a problem and has a heck of a good model of the giant Enola yard. I captured a few shots and  a video of one of his coal trains. The video can be found on my YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/vB8FoTPV4qU
